We decorate the walls. Decorative wall plates.
Not everyone can afford designer wallpaper or wall painting in their new or old renovated apartment. But maybe this is the main advantage. After all, the walls in such an apartment, painted or pasted simply, but tastefully, are an extensive field for decoration and "embellishment".
There are many options: paintings, photographs, art objects. Or ordinary plates. Yes, yes, decorative wall plates: simple, colored, white, patterned, brought from vacation, with a photo or image applied, decorated in decoupage or craquelure technique. As your imagination pleases – everything you find at home can be competently placed in the interior. Perhaps these will be vintage plates from the "grandmother's" Czech set or with modern humorous inscriptions and plots.
There are only two rules of such decoration:
The size of the plates.
The plates should be flat, that is, deep soup plates will not work. These can be saucers, wildcard and dessert plates. Weight is also important. It is clear that less preference is given to heavy ones.
A competent composition.
It is necessary to position them correctly relative to each other. It is not necessary to arrange a kind of fusion on the wall: if the objects are of different styles, then it is better to place them in different rooms. Arranging the plates according to size is also very important to get the finished composition.
Having collected the source materials they do not need and very necessary for you from friends, relatives and acquaintances, you need to prepare for wall decoration. You should arrange the plates according to the color scheme and decide whether you still need to buy any interesting items in your collection. It is better to focus on the color and pattern of the wallpaper. You can use contrasting shades based on the color circle.
Monochrome, that is, white and black, can be used in any interior and company with any other color, as they are universal. But bright purple, lilac, red, fuchsia, light green and bright green, the colors of young greenery are best suited to them.
Colored plates must be composed according to a combination of cold and warm shades. Cold ones include green, blue, light blue, purple, lilac, while warm ones include red, orange, yellow and all their derivatives.
But if you think that just by hanging a lot of plates on the wall, you have successfully coped with the decor, then this is a big mistake. The whole composition needs to be carefully thought out, so you should first lay out the decorative material on the floor. And rearrange, swap the plates until exactly the result you want is achieved.
By the way, plates can be both square and oval. There is a huge field for activity here, it all depends on your imagination.
Modern technologies now allow you to use so many technical means for decoration that you can even apply a drawing to the surface yourself. For example, photos. It's a great idea, it's both a photo frame and the photo itself. It's original and simple, and most importantly, no one has it. You will definitely be able to surprise the guests, you will also be asked for advice and invited to help make repairs.
