Form.
Oval or round ones are ideal for small rooms, but rectangular ones are suitable for rooms of any size, low tables look good in interiors with high ceilings.

And even if small children live in the house, parents will not buy such a table. If the owners of the house have a habit of laying out books, magazines, photo albums everywhere, then a table with drawers will be appropriate, so as not to clutter the surface, which is already not very large.
Functionality.
In addition to a cup of tea or coffee, decorative items and art, vases with flowers, plates with fruits can be on the table. And built-in drawers allow you to put books, newspapers, various small things in it, an untidy appearance can spoil any interior.
